Brian’s background in Supply Chain and Logistics spans more than twenty years, three continents, and multiple industries in roles encompassing inventory, technology, operations, transport and project management.

Brian has been in Australia for more than seventeen years and has been a member of the 极速电竞比分直播 for the vast majority of this time, progressing through the role of State President to a position representing WA on the association’s National Board.

He’s extremely grateful for the networking, educational opportunities and career development that membership of the 极速电竞比分直播 has afforded him and relished the prospect of developing more industry leaders.

Experience

John has worked in a diverse range of Industries and roles ranging from electrical contracting where he managed his own business, National Operation/Marketing Manager overseeing 15 Regional sites for a large whitegoods service manufacture. He was also General Manager of DP World – W.A. from December 2014 to May 2016 whilst also performing duties as AWH GM Western Region.

John was instrumental in establishing the DAFF [Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry] and mining related quarantine business at AWH which resulted in a new site being built within the Fremantle Port precinct.

During his time at DP World, he was responsible for managing the total resources for the Fremantle terminal to achieve optimum levels of employee productivity, ROI and state based financial profit. These responsibilities were in addition to ensuring customer expectations are exceeded and translating this into a best practice business across all areas.

John was a member of the Freight and Logistics Council, Chairman of the Port Carriers Group and is a member of the Fremantle Port Taskforce. He has studied extensively obtaining a Bachelor of Business and an Executive Masters Business Administration (MBA) as part of his studies.

He is currently the AWH Regional General Manager for SA and WA and has been with the company for over 27 years covering a variety of roles and responsibilities. He is currently responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse, distribution, quarantine, and Port related activities across 4 sites covering more than 130,000 m2 of warehouse space.

Every committee has a chairperson, secretary, treasurer, and head of different purpose driven chapters including; membership, education, national awards, social events, regional development, TDL round table and marketing. There are also sub-committees working on projects such as Women in Logistics, Mentoring programs, Career development and practical industry training programmes.

Events Co-ordination & Management	Event coordinators, also known as event specialists or event planners, are responsible for every aspect of event planning. Their main duties include selecting venues, determining the cost, arranging event services, and monitoring client approval.
Memberships & Partnerships Liaison	The Partnership and Membership Director will lead a new business unit to cultivate and foster strategic relationships and partnerships.
Finance/Treasurer	The Treasurer has a watchdog role over all aspects of financial management, working closely with other members of the Management Committee to safeguard the organisation's finances.
